About 30 yrs ago when I was traveling in South America I was dreaming of once coming back and visit Argentina, Uruguay and Brasil. Well, I made it to Argentina and Uruguay this time, and with a complete different purpose than I would have ever dreamed before, extending the Word of God and offering an experience of Awakening and healing of the mind.
We arrived in Buenos Aires coming from Quito, Ecuador, and were welcomed to teach for a week in the Centro Milagros before they had to vacate the place. A small group of 10 – 20 brothers joined in the offered sessions as best as they could besides their work and family situations in the scheduled two sessions a day. After that week an Advent with Mitch, Lois and John and John was scheduled as an South American event, and there were about a hundred brothers coming together to receive the message of A Course in Miracles and encounter their Self.
After that week Martha Carina and I followed an invitation for an Advent in nearby Bragado with 15-20 brothers, and the week afterwards we had a very nice Advent in the northern part of Argentina, in Tucuman. Graciela and Ximena were very successful in the preparation for this Advent, and there came also guests from Mendoza and Rosario. All past memories which laid dormant around past political activities were healed and released.
The week after this Advent we returned to Bs As and had a small but very nice and intensive Advent which was crowned on Sunday with music performances and the movie “Copying Beethoven”.
A week later we followed an invitation for an Advent in Piriapolis, Uruguay, and traveled also to Montevideo and Minas. Our host Juan Jose who is active extending the message in Minas also organized sessions in Minas and Piriapolis before and after the Advent. Brothers and new people came from all over Uruguay, more than eight different locations, mostly associations of our good friend and teacher Juan. The whole weekend with more than 70 participants was an incredible blast of Light and joy. It was said that this Hotel Alcazar was actually Alcatraz and had been converted into a Space where people come now to feel the Light… The place was donated and everyone gave very generously to cover the travel costs of the teachers. It all was simply perfectly orchestrated by Jesus Himself. Thank You, Father.
We, then, just returned for one good-bye session to Bs As and flew the next day to Bogota where Raphael shared his whole mind with everyone at the Centro Milagros, a week that no-one can forget or deny. A big thanks to Raphy and all the brothers in service to the Awakening of mind.
