Milagros.

Un Advenimiento es un encuentro
intenso con la verdad facilitando el deshacimiento de una percepción y un pensar
falsos. Es también una invitación a unirse en una mente, utilizando la Mente de
Dios y atravesando por una experiencia espiritual de luz en su propia
mente.

Waking-up Venezuela

Our last station here in Venezuela is San Cristobal, in the state of Tachira: a city in the south-west near the Colombian border. Just a quick trip over the border and you can breathe Cucuta’s air. San Cristobal is considered a city of bakeries and pastry shops, so I call it “San Panaderia (bakery) of Venezuela.” There is also something very calming about this city: its view to the green high rain-forest mountains surrounding it, and in certain parts of the city you may think you are in San Francisco, U.S.A. when you drive up and down the steep hills looking for the next coffee shop. We have also roosters all day long crowing around the house and birds of all kinds sing, jasmin flowers spread their fragrance, and on and on…
In the midst of a central intersection the brothers have a place on a 6th floor building to meet for sessions, a Centro Milagros, and they do meet as best as they can six times a week. Because almost all of them are working during the day time they meet for an hour or so at 7.30 in the morning. There is a tendency to question a lot, analyze and discuss things, so we were delighted to demonstrate them the form that works for us: join with music in the Light experience, do the lesson of the day (with or without teaching) and watch a video of the Master Teacher, join again in the Light. At that time around 9.30 am almost all have left for work and so we also would leave for breakfast. In the evening they meet again at 7 pm and though there is less participation we had great sessions and lots of fun. This place will be given up by the end of the month: it served its purpose well, but was always a very noisy place from the traffic of the main street below.

All brothers are very nice and dedicated to the Course in Miracles. Our Advent last weekend was also an incredible experience with lots of Light and joining in the Mind of God. New guys would also show up and stay for the whole weekend, having their experiences of Light, Joy and Peace. Brothers visited us from Maracaibo and Barquisimeto as well as spontaneous visitors who heard us on the radio and TV show we had before the event. Some interviews more will follow these days. The place was donated by a travel agency, and the manager or owner (Raphael) was participating too. We were taken care of very well by our host Julia Veronica, and Luisa, Gerardo, Cielo, Anna and many other brothers helped wherever a need arose. It became clear to all that the purpose of this Course is to forgive and go Home, change one’s mind and give to one Self, at last to come with empty hands to Our Creator and forget everything this dream offers, incl. this Course as a means. It also became very clear that it’s impossible to see two worlds and remain with one leg in time-space and with the other leg trying to find God.There was lots of gratitude expressed and interest when we would come back and share more of the miracle through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Self-recognition is now accepted to be the main focus in each and everyone instead of waiting for some “savior” to arrive in a “no-future” time. Martha and me are as well grateful and happy and a greater shift in consciousness reveals very clearly the greater integration of all form association while being steadfast in the direction to the Singularity of the Experience itself. Thank you, God, and thank you, my Brother in Light.

More Advents in Venezuela

Everything is really going great here with us in Venezuela.
Martha and I are back in Maracaibo celebrating in a  4 days event with morning and evening sessions
your resurrection, this time organized from all brothers together of the 4
Course groups here in Maracaibo. We are invited to teach in two other places
besides the Centro Milagros where we are staying, and it is for the first time
that they organize something together.

 After Caracas we visited the nearby city of Maracay and opened up all these esoteric and magic ideas of salvation. It’s always the presence in the Light that works and lets each one recognize one Self and themselves. At the end of the two day visit there, hosted by Grace and supported by Zoila and about 15 – 20 other
interested Course “students” and teachers, it became very clear to everyone
that we can no longer pretend to be fine in a non-existing place, this world.

We moved on to Coro where it was for the first time that an
Advent was organized and Zelibeth, our host, gave the best she could to
communicate in a way that facilitates the miracle of an Advent. She had Yelitza
from Punto Fijo as her helper and her family, her husband with her two grown up
students who helped her throughout the weekend and the scheduled sessions
before and after this two days event. The first day on Saturday in Hotel
Cumberland was for many visitors new in their experience and we could feel that
most of them were a little timid, but on Sunday the ice broke and a huge
seemingly never ending Light celebration let everyone have a very nice
Experience. On Monday we were invited at one group in Punto Fijo (about 40 min
away) and on Tuesday in a school at Maria Estel’s group where there were out of
the 70 people about 20 new visitors. Using a microphone with regular electric
shocks just let me laugh more and it was a very nice round-up of all kind of
perspectives of what this Course in Miracles offers. Though this group is set
up as a study group there, my teaching of “there is nothing to understand…
anything offered with a result in time is not what this Course is offering…”
was accepted very well and applauded. At the end there were still a 15 guys staying
all through the Light session, and that is really everything! It was also
really great to have some brothers from the Center in Maracaibo there with us
as the Light Team. You can really tell the difference.

The following weekend we spent in Barquisimeto and our host,
Rosa, arranged for us a special accommodation in a huge villa right outside the
city in the tranquilo (calm) and green hills, a Finca of one of her friends. We
had the whole house with about 6 bathrooms, swimming pool and breakfast veranda
where we watched every day the Master’s videos. Evening session happened in a
rented place in down-town and the Advent in a (to a courtyard) half open room
in a community center. It was all perfect and great, and removing the gigantic Christ
hanging on the cross on the wall was not so difficult as it first looked like.
There was just little participation, about 30 people throughout the weekend,
but there was consistency and lots of willingness to join and experience the
Light. After the weekend we looked with our host how to refine the
communication so that she doesn’t need to solely rely on herself organizing
such an event, and the last session happened in a house of one of the brothers
who wanted to offer her place for on-going sessions. We were very happy to see
that a commitment to get together for sessions was initiated, and the brother s
will follow their commitments to this new offering. Until now they only came
together in Advents and sometimes for reading the Course. The form we offered
with one or two teaching a session, watching the videos and join in the Light
with music seemed to be a great attraction and didn’t need much promotion.

We thank Our Father for using us to extend this message of
Jesus’ Course in Miracles and will move on Monday to Santa Barbara in the mountains
for 2 days and then arrive in San Cristobal for another Advent in Venezuela and
many more sessions.
