Bogota, Bogota and Bogota

Arriving in Bogota is like arriving in an old memory of thousands of years and waking up from the dream. I am very glad to see the dedication in my brothers at the Centro Milagros, and giving as best as they can to themselves and their Awakening. After Rafael went back to Wisconsin it was up to us to teach and celebrate our contact with God in the daily sessions. In the morning we joined for a moment in the Light, read the lesson of the day and watched a video of Master Teacher. Then once more we celebrated our Awakening in the Light before having lunch. The evening sessions are the main sessions since many brothers are working during the daytime.
The weekend of the 17 – 19 of July was scheduled for our Advent of A Great Awakening at the Center and we had a good look at the human condition’s denial and resistance to completely join in the Occurrence of Christ making a personal appearance. Using Chapter 15 of ACIM it also was given to convert the guilt and thoughts of littleness versus the magnitude of God’s grace and reclaiming this Experience Which is already happening in your mind. We had also lots of chokes and fun, dance and Light celebration. A great gift of Our Father.
I also want to express my gratitude to Nubia and Ximena as to all brothers who helped them to organize and be in service throughout the entire weekend. On monday we finished with “bendiciones a la filiacion” (blessings to the Sonship) and danced our way out of here in the nation’s celebration of “Independence Day”.
The days after this weekend were just rushing by and long walks in parks and quiet areas of north, north-west Bogota, as well as visits in the City Center and it’s colonial quaters and a visit in picturesque Guatavita (about 1hr north of Bogota) crowned this visit in the Capitol of Colombia. The people are very nice and helpful, miracles are seen all around, and most important… the desparation in poor areas where you can literally sense the cloud of death wishes as a solution for their problems and necessity to fight for survival and the daily dollar… are changed by the change of my own mind and recognizing that “the Light has come.”
God bless us all. Thank you for this invitation in this ancient memory and the willingness to see it all with the vision of the Holy Spirit.

Argentina and Uruguay


About 30 yrs ago when I was traveling in South America I was dreaming of once coming back and visit Argentina, Uruguay and Brasil. Well, I made it to Argentina and Uruguay this time, and with a complete different purpose than I would have ever dreamed before, extending the Word of God and offering an experience of Awakening and healing of the mind.
We arrived in Buenos Aires coming from Quito, Ecuador, and were welcomed to teach for a week in the Centro Milagros before they had to vacate the place. A small group of 10 – 20 brothers joined in the offered sessions as best as they could besides their work and family situations in the scheduled two sessions a day. After that week an Advent with Mitch, Lois and John and John was scheduled as an South American event, and there were about a hundred brothers coming together to receive the message of A Course in Miracles and encounter their Self.
After that week Martha Carina and I followed an invitation for an Advent in nearby Bragado with 15-20 brothers, and the week afterwards we had a very nice Advent in the northern part of Argentina, in Tucuman. Graciela and Ximena were very successful in the preparation for this Advent, and there came also guests from Mendoza and Rosario. All past memories which laid dormant around past political activities were healed and released.
The week after this Advent we returned to Bs As and had a small but very nice and intensive Advent which was crowned on Sunday with music performances and the movie “Copying Beethoven”.
A week later we followed an invitation for an Advent in Piriapolis, Uruguay, and traveled also to Montevideo and Minas. Our host Juan Jose who is active extending the message in Minas also organized sessions in Minas and Piriapolis before and after the Advent. Brothers and new people came from all over Uruguay, more than eight different locations, mostly associations of our good friend and teacher Juan. The whole weekend with more than 70 participants was an incredible blast of Light and joy. It was said that this Hotel Alcazar was actually Alcatraz and had been converted into a Space where people come now to feel the Light… The place was donated and everyone gave very generously to cover the travel costs of the teachers. It all was simply perfectly orchestrated by Jesus Himself. Thank You, Father.
We, then, just returned for one good-bye session to Bs As and flew the next day to Bogota where Raphael shared his whole mind with everyone at the Centro Milagros, a week that no-one can forget or deny. A big thanks to Raphy and all the brothers in service to the Awakening of mind.

Visit in Quito, Ecuador

On the feet of the Pichincha mountain and with view to the mighty volcano Cotopaxi we were breathing heavily in the 2800 m high plateau of Quito. Besides the difficulties to get some poison of oxygen into the blood we enjoyed thoroughly this visit in the capitol of Ecuador. A small group of brothers of the Centro Milagros Ecuador invited us to teach the Course in Miracles and stay in their Center (opposite of the Bank of Guayaquil), and we invited everyone in an Advent of a Great Awakening on the first weekend of May. Though it stayed in a small rate of participation, the Light of our Mind was shining brilliantly and it was a wonderful experience for everyone. It all is orchastrated by Jesus Himself, and by the Grace of God everyone could recognize Himself as one Self, being perfect, healed and whole. This Course really works.

We shared the teachings and our Experience also for the following week in morning and evening sessions in the Center, and the committed core group was dedicated in showing up as best as they could besides their work, family and personal affairs. Though always more is possible and offered by Him as it seems to be acceptable at the time period it is always just about oneself and to accept one’s own assignment given by HIM. What a miracle it is to find a few minds who demonstrate and live in a way that their Awakening is also their priority in all their daily decisions. And this priority is expressed in a showing up in sessions and events. All in all Martha and I had a really good time and kind of “vacation” while being full-on teaching the Course. The brothers are very generous and were taking care of us in every possible way. Gaby, as our host and a Light beacon is doing this since the very beginning of Quito’s opening to the Course, and Maria Elena, Maria Libertad, Sylvia, Jazz-Min, Ana, Myriam, Lourdes, Silvana, Vero, Pedro, Pablo, Alex, Sol, Roxanne, the Isabels’ and a few more which I can’t remember by name offered us just a wonderful companionship during this two weeks. We were invited to come back and offer some more reunions and insertion of miracle-mindedness, and we see forward how the miracle will work in each and every one of us, showing us that there is no other time than Now.

I am just glad that all time is already over and that we are already back Home, just reviewing how we got out of here.

Thank you, my brothers. This Course works… despite of anyone!

Waking-up Venezuela

Our last station here in Venezuela is San Cristobal, in the state of Tachira: a city in the south-west near the Colombian border. Just a quick trip over the border and you can breathe Cucuta’s air. San Cristobal is considered a city of bakeries and pastry shops, so I call it “San Panaderia (bakery) of Venezuela.” There is also something very calming about this city: its view to the green high rain-forest mountains surrounding it, and in certain parts of the city you may think you are in San Francisco, U.S.A. when you drive up and down the steep hills looking for the next coffee shop. We have also roosters all day long crowing around the house and birds of all kinds sing, jasmin flowers spread their fragrance, and on and on…
In the midst of a central intersection the brothers have a place on a 6th floor building to meet for sessions, a Centro Milagros, and they do meet as best as they can six times a week. Because almost all of them are working during the day time they meet for an hour or so at 7.30 in the morning. There is a tendency to question a lot, analyze and discuss things, so we were delighted to demonstrate them the form that works for us: join with music in the Light experience, do the lesson of the day (with or without teaching) and watch a video of the Master Teacher, join again in the Light. At that time around 9.30 am almost all have left for work and so we also would leave for breakfast. In the evening they meet again at 7 pm and though there is less participation we had great sessions and lots of fun. This place will be given up by the end of the month: it served its purpose well, but was always a very noisy place from the traffic of the main street below.

All brothers are very nice and dedicated to the Course in Miracles. Our Advent last weekend was also an incredible experience with lots of Light and joining in the Mind of God. New guys would also show up and stay for the whole weekend, having their experiences of Light, Joy and Peace. Brothers visited us from Maracaibo and Barquisimeto as well as spontaneous visitors who heard us on the radio and TV show we had before the event. Some interviews more will follow these days. The place was donated by a travel agency, and the manager or owner (Raphael) was participating too. We were taken care of very well by our host Julia Veronica, and Luisa, Gerardo, Cielo, Anna and many other brothers helped wherever a need arose. It became clear to all that the purpose of this Course is to forgive and go Home, change one’s mind and give to one Self, at last to come with empty hands to Our Creator and forget everything this dream offers, incl. this Course as a means. It also became very clear that it’s impossible to see two worlds and remain with one leg in time-space and with the other leg trying to find God.There was lots of gratitude expressed and interest when we would come back and share more of the miracle through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Self-recognition is now accepted to be the main focus in each and everyone instead of waiting for some “savior” to arrive in a “no-future” time. Martha and me are as well grateful and happy and a greater shift in consciousness reveals very clearly the greater integration of all form association while being steadfast in the direction to the Singularity of the Experience itself. Thank you, God, and thank you, my Brother in Light.
