Our ultimate purpose in learning is to abolish fear and follow HIM, as HE says. The purpose of this Course is simply to prepare for Knowledge. Descartes premise “I think therefore I am” came from knowing that he was there, Here and Now. This equals Thinking with Being, and coming from revelation as “I AM, therefore I think.” Anyway, it works in any way! ◊

Jesus uses the example of Freud to show us to not stay on the levels of perception. When mind created its own levels where perception and body identity started it still could not entirely separate from the Soul since its will-power was and still is of It. HE is looking in this section at terms like the superconscious which knows and the unconscious and shares what it truly means to be under the “chosen ones”. ◊
